The snowstorm hitting Massachusetts on Tuesday is leading to some traffic incidents in Western Massachusetts and icy road conditions.

A winter storm warning is in effect until 1 a.m. Wednesday for northern and southern Berkshire County.

Northwest Middlesex County, eastern Franklin and northern Worcester counties could continue to see snow accumulation up to 10 inches with a winter storm warning in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is warning that the evening commute may be difficult north of Interstate 90, especially near and north of Route 2.

Snow will change to rain south of I-90, with mainly snow north of Route 2. Snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible during the evening commute.
