FOXBOROUGH — Mike Vrabel’s team has exceeded all expectations as they head into the league’s latest bye week.

Winners of 10 in a row, the Patriots sit 11-2, alone atop the AFC East and own the NFL’s best record. They’ll have a week off before hosting Buffalo in a game with major playoff implications.

As New England heads into the bye after meetings on Tuesday, Vrabel’s message to the team was about staying focused on what lies ahead.
