LOGAN - Mark your calendars, the opening ceremony for The Light of The World Giving Machine has been set for Monday, Dec. 15, 2025. The opening with its introductions, ribbon cutting and live entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. near the corner of 55 W. Center Street in Logan.

The Bear River Ramblers, a country and blues acoustic music group, will perform live as part of the opening ceremony.

After the opening ceremony the machines will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. from Tuesday, Dec. 16, until Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

This year the Giving Machine Committee has selected five different local qualified nonprofit charities that benefit those in need.

The sixth charity selected by the Giving Machine Committee will be filled with items by preselected non-profits that support global needs.
