Lewis Hall reacts after a missed opportunity against Spurs

Newcastle United dropped two points at home to Tottenham Hotspur at St James' Park on a costly night in the Premier League.

The Magpies went in against a Spurs side that had won just one game in seven matches since their last visit to St James' Park in the Carabao Cup. The two sides went in at the break level but Tottenham escaped punishment when Joelinton's stinging effort bounced back off the base of the post.

But it was his fellow countryman Bruno who would break the deadlock after coming off the bench. It was a fellow replacement in Anthony Gordon that finally carved Spurs open with his cross being laid off by Nick Woltemade, before the ex-Lyon star fired home.
