CRAWFORD COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The Crawford County Sheriff's Office confirmed a former county library board member was arrested on a conspiracy to commit kidnapping charge shortly after her resignation.

Tamara "Tammi" Hamby submitted her resignation as a library board member, effective Nov. 24, 2025. Her reasoning was that she was moving out of the Van Buren district.

Crawford County Prosecutor Kevin Holmes said Tammi turned herself in on Wednesday morning, Dec. 3, amid accusations she conspired to commit a kidnapping.

He confirmed other suspects are charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

When asked about booking records of alleged accomplices in connection with Tammi's case, the Crawford County Sheriff's Office named David Qbao Quach, Austria Nico, and Shannon Jazmin Yvonne
