MINNEAPOLIS — Local immigration organizations say they’ve been preparing all year for the possibility of federal immigration enforcement throughout the state, and now they hope that preparation pays off with the Trump administration's ICE operations now unfolding across the Twin Cities.

In fact, legal aid organizations – including The Advocates for Human Rights , the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota , Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid , Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services and Volunteer Lawyers Network – created a so-called “Immigration Hub” to pool their resources and expand their outreach.
