The story follows two headstrong matriarchs (Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey) in 1800s Oregon who are trying to exert their own versions of Manifest Destiny. When the wealthier family tries to buy land owned by the other, chaos ensues, and each woman must fight for her family’s future.
