JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. —

Five people were arrested this week after law enforcement officers raided two motels in Knob Noster as part of a drug investigation.

The Johnson County, Missouri, Sheriff's Crime Resolution Team served search warrants at Laci’s Country Inn and America’s Best Motel with assistance from police in Knob Noster and Warrensburg. Advertisement

Deputies said they seized a significant amount of methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl.

The arrests included people wanted on warrants and others accused of possessing drugs, failing to register as a sex offender, and endangering a child.

The sheriff’s office said the operation, dubbed “Operation White Sheets,” targeted criminal activity impacting Knob Noster and surrounding communities.
