An 18-year-old Stillwater man has been arrested and charged with rape and domestic abuse, just weeks after widespread backlash to a similar case rocked the college community.

Canyn Rion Porter, who recently turned 18 but was 17 at the time of the alleged crimes, is charged as an adult in Payne County District Court with felony counts of first-degree rape and domestic assault and battery by strangulation. He also faces a misdemeanor count of domestic assault and battery, according to court records.
