MORRISON, Ill. (KWQC) - Morrison police are looking for a man after an attempted armed robbery near a school Thursday.
Morrison Police officers responded to an attempted armed robbery near the Northside School at about 11:20 a.m., according to a Facebook post.
Police said the suspect reportedly had a Glock-style handgun.
The school went on lockdown because of the incident, officials said.
He is described as a younger, skinny, white man, between 5- foot-9 to 5- foot-11. Police said he was wearing a black coat and pants, and a mask.
