Twenty-six classes from the Santa Maria-Bonita School District visited the Magical Christmas Trees Raffle Fundraiser hosted by Golden Valley Altrusa Wednesday at Kia Santa Maria.

The 635 students, from Battles and Bill Libbon elementary schools, will receive a new book courtesy of Golden Valley Altrusa.

Ten of the district schools or school clubs have sponsored and decorated trees for the raffle, including Libbon, Miller, Alvin, Fairlawn, Ontiveros, Tunnell, Rice, Bonita, Arellanes Junior High's Builders Club and the Adam Elementary School Garden Club in partnership with Nighttime Kiwanis.

District teachers supplied their students with Magical Christmas Trees coloring sheets which they colored and returned to Kia for a free raffle ticket.
