Nicola Puddicombe has won her chance at an earlier parole date – but only by three years.
The axe killer will be eligible to apply for parole on May 16, 2029, after a jury at her faint hope hearing returned a verdict Thursday night that she should not have to spend the required 25 years of her life sentence before being able to apply.
In less than four years, she’ll have the chance to perhaps be reunited on the outside with her child-killer girlfriend.
Puddicombe sure does pick ’em.
The jury was never told the axe killer’s new prison girlfriend was convicted of second-degree murder in the horrific 2011 death of her then-lover’s two-year-old child, Marissa Whalen.
And while Rainbow Hill was granted day parole to a Hamilton halfway house in 2020 , it was later revoked for bad behaviou
