At 2:56 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory valid for Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for Clatsop County Coast.
The weather service comments, "A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and property."
