DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray Media Iowa Capitol Bureau) - Millions of Americans could lose federal assistance with their health insurance coverage on New Year’s Eve, potentially causing monthly premiums to double or triple in cost.
The Congressional Budget Office warns that 4.2 million Americans may drop their coverage because of the higher costs if Congress doesn’t extend the credits.
