A body was found inside a crashed vehicle belonging to a missing 20-year-old Northern Colorado woman, which law enforcement located in a canal near Timnath the afternoon of Dec. 4.

Law enforcement officials have not identified the body, but multiple news outlets are reporting it belongs to Kaylee Russell , including Denver 7.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation had issued an endangered missing person alert for Kaylee Russell, who had been missing since Nov. 30. She was last seen near the Loveland/Johnstown Park-N-Ride at Colorado Highway 402 and Interstate 25.

About 2 p.m. Dec. 4, the Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Bureau of Investigations and Evans Police Department responded to assist the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office with a single-vehicle crash near Timnath.
