Seahawks safety Julian Love discussed the significance of being his team's nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.

Football wise, it has been a tough season for Seahawks safety Julian Love, who has missed nine of his team's 12 games due to a hamstring injury.

But Love, with the help of his wife, Julia, was also able to channel his energy, along with some extra downtime, into making a big difference in the community. And for the work he has done on the field, along with his standout play when he is on it, Love was named the Seahawks’ nominee for the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award on Thursday.
