WACO, Texas — Texas State Technical College’s Aircraft Pilot Training program will debut five new Piper Pilot 100i airplanes at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at the TSTC Airport on Airline Drive on the Waco campus.
Visitors attending the event will enter through the Col. James T. Connally Aerospace Center.
The aircraft, scheduled to arrive over the weekend from Piper’s headquarters in Vero Beach, Florida, will join the fleet used by students and certified flight instructors.
The delivery marks the program’s latest step in modernizing its flight training resources. TSTC received its first batch of new airplanes in November 2023 as part of an ongoing effort to upgrade equipment and expand opportunities for aspiring pilots.
