The ground floor of the YWCA boasted a festive scene Thursday evening, as the third annual launch of the Wint-Her Market got underway.

The Wint-Her Market — hosted by YWCA in partnership with Futurpreneur, a Canadian non-profit supporting budding entrepreneurs — saw 36 women-owned businesses selling a number of products and services from clothes, homemade items, jewellery, food, medical and beauty services.

Entering the building, one would see tables of homemade snacks, artisan jewellery and hot and cold beverages — and behind each table, a budding entrepreneur.
