Police on Thursday were asking the public to help identify additional victims and witnesses following the arrest of a 27-year-old Oxnard man on suspicion of forcible lewd acts upon a child.

Detectives from the Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit arrested Juan Carlos Ruiz on Dec. 1, 2025.

Investigators said they are aware of separate incidents in which Ruiz allegedly communicated with juvenile victims on social media, picked them up, and assaulted them. Ruiz is known online by the username “juvnstaygetinit” and the display name “Juan Gee.”
