Considering that the end of 2025 is less than a month away, Google has revealed the top trending searches that Canadians made this year.
The American League-winning Toronto Blue Jays were the top trending Google search result across the country. Not only did the team top the news and events search results, but the players themselves also dominated the list of athletes, with seven of the top 10 being team members (Addison Barger, Trey Yesavage, to name a few).
In terms of questions, Blue Jays and playoff baseball ranked highly across multiple categories. To name a few, Canadians asked about why baseball players spit, how many innings there are, how tall Alejandro Kirk is, and how many baseballs are used in an MLB game (roughly between 84 to 120 in case you’re wondering).
