ORANGE, Ohio -- Village Council has authorized an updated agreement between Mayor Judson Kline and DS Architecture of Cleveland to provide design services for a potential new fire station and the proposed renovation of Village Hall.
On Wednesday (Dec. 3), council authorized the agreement for an amount not to exceed $86,270.
Council had approved a similar agreement between the two entities Nov. 12 for an amount not to exceed $85,000.
“Last month, we accepted (DS Architecture’s) initial offer,” Kline said.
“Now we’ve negotiated the contract, and I have to have the authorization to sign the contract.”
Kline has said a bond issue will be needed to fund the renovation and construction projects.
He told council in early August that his goal is to place the bond issue on the primary ballot
