Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James ' record streak of consecutive regular-season games double-digit scoring streak has come to an end.
James finished Thursday's (December 4) game against the Toronto Raptors with eight points, falling short of double figures for the first time since January 6, 2007 and ending his streak at 1,297 consecutive games. The four-time NBA champion opted not to shoot, instead recording a game-winning assist to set up Rui Hachimura 's 3-pointer as time expired to give the Lakers a 123-120 win.
James responded, "none," when asked what thoughts he had about the streak ending, adding, "we won," while addressing reporters via ESPN .
