Coweta County Sheriff’s Office investigators are examining a double homicide after two people were found dead inside a residence on Little Road Thursday night.

Deputies were dispatched to the home in the 100 block of Little Road around 8 p.m. on Dec. 4 in response to a 911 call reporting an “unknown problem,” according to the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived, they discovered two deceased individuals inside the home. A suspect who remained at the scene was reportedly taken into custody without incident.

The sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is leading the case, with investigators and crime scene personnel processing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
