LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One month after a UPS cargo jet crash killed 14 people near Louisville's international airport, Gov. Andy Beshear is calling for accountability from the shipping giant while cautioning that how the company handles victims' families and affected businesses "remains to be seen."
“This is their plane, and they need to take responsibility and do everything they can to make it right," Beshear said Thursday. “I think people should watch, and there should be high expectations for a company that has been in the past really good to Kentucky.”
Louisville Emergency Services confirmed that as of late Monday night, phase three of recovery is underway.
That means businesses along Melton, Knopp, Abell and Hawkins Avenues near the crash site are able to go past the police check points
