Santa Claus arrived by jet ski at Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beach on Thursday as part of a project to give children with a range of conditions a joyful day.

Dozens of children with disabilities came together for the Christmas celebration organized by the city’s firefighters and local nonprofits, where they received gifts and festive cheer from Santa.

The project aims to give children with a range of conditions, including childhood cancer, syndromes, disabilities and rare diseases, a joyful day.
