Albuquerque's mayoral race is heating up as voters prepare for the runoff election on Tuesday, with candidates Tim Keller and Darren White intensifying their campaigns through attack ads.

57,000 voters have already submitted their ballots early, as of Thursday evening — which is about a third of the total number of voters from last month's general election.

The final ads for both candidates are similar, with each using their opponent's language against them, according to KOAT political expert Brian Sanderoff.
