ERIE, Pa. – Shepherd University (19-11) fell to Pitt-Johnstown (18-11) in three sets in NCAA II Atlantic Regional quarterfinal volleyball action hosted by Gannon on Thursday evening. The Mountain Cats posted a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-21) win.

Junior outside hitter Amya Davis and junior middle/right side hitter Sophia Ryan each led the Rams with eight kills and three digs. Freshman outside hitter Ada McCoy and freshman right side hitter Emily Ryder had five kills. McCoy also added four digs.

Senior setter Macy Buso recorded 24 assists, four kills, four digs and an ace. Sophomore libero Kiela Sanger had a team-high 12 digs. Senior libero Madigan Faircloth (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/Liberty University) contributed six digs and three assists.
