Former New York Yankees right-hander Michael King has to feel confident about what his free-agency market is going to look like.
It’s tough to get a perfect feel for the market for the San Diego Padres ' free agent due to some of his injuries, but after his former teammate Dylan Cease landed a seven-year, $210 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays , it almost feels safe to say that King is going to get a much bigger contract than some expect.
Where he will land is the next question, but the Yankees are certainly an attractive spot for the reliever-turned-starter.
