We are living through a volatile political environment these days and a troubling phrase that has re-entered the Hoosier lexicon is this: "Domestic terrorism."
Since last summer when President Donald J. Trump pressed the Indiana GOP to forge new congressional maps, about a dozen Republicans in the Indiana Senate have been "swatted" (when local law enforcement is called to a residence after a phantom crime has been reported). Others have received pipe bomb threats at their homes and businesses.
“Very disappointed in Indiana State Senate Republicans, led by RINO Senators Rod Bray and Greg Goode, for not wanting to redistrict their State, allowing the United States Congress to perhaps gain two more Republican seats,” Trump said in a late November social media post.
