Of the people who voted for President Donald Trump in 2024, the percentage of those who do not want him to serve a third term is larger than those who do, a poll has found.
According to polling by The Economist /YouGov, 45 percent of Trump voters do not want him to take office again, while 43 percent do. A further 11 percent said they were not sure.
At a White House Christmas party this week, Trump said it was "an honor" to be president and acknowledged that he had "a little more than three years left" of his presidency. "Three years for Trump is an eternity," he added.
