The biggest matchup of the day is between No. 21 Tulane and No. 20 North Texas in the American Conference championship game. Both are currently among the highest-ranked Group of Five teams, meaning whichever team wins the conference championship should all but be assured a spot in the CFP field.
The other game to watch is James Madison taking on Troy in the Sun Belt Conference championship game. The Dukes need a win and a good result in the ACC championship game on Saturday, Dec. 6, to have a great opportunity to make the field.
In other action, Jacksonville State seeks its second straight Conference USA title with a win over Kennewaw State, while Boise State and UNLV battle in the Mountain West championship game.
