While the Yankees try to land Cody Bellinger as their third and final starting outfielder, Jasson Domínguez is down in the Dominican Republic trying to get the reps he lost out on late last season.
The former top prospect was squeezed out of playing time most notably by the emergence of Trent Grisham, who is coming back next season after accepting the Yankees’ $22.025 million qualifying offer . And if their offseason goes according to plan, they will also be running it back with Bellinger, who can share the starting outfield with Grisham and reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge.
