AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Highway 60 is now open after a pickup truck collided with a train at the crossing near HWY 60 and FM 1912.
A pickup truck hauling a trailer collided with a train Thursday night near Tyson Foods after failing to yield the right of way.
Officials say the driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the railroad crossing on Highway 60 and FM 1912.
According to Texas DPS two train cars were derailed in the incident.
Westbound Highway 60 was closed before Highland Park ISD while officials investigate but has since been reopened.
