LISBON Visitors to Lisbon’s Lepper Library this month can view a holiday display crafted from water-worn wood found along the shores of Lake Erie.
Jo Barto is showcasing a collection of Santas carved by her husband, Bob Barto. The figures were created using driftwood Jo Barto collected while visiting YMCA Camp Fitch in North Springfield, Pennsylvania.
In addition to the carved figures, the display case features Shadow Dancers and items related to "The Night Before Christmas," including a mouse figurine and a copy of the book.
The Lepper Library, located at 303 E. Lincoln Way, is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
