ST. PAUL, Minn. — Abdimahat Bille Mohamed, 28, faces serious federal charges including kidnapping and raping a minor and multiple women in Minnesota.

U.S. Attorney Daniel N. Rosen says Mohamed's alleged crimes span from 2017 to 2025, with at least five victims identified in the complaint. Attorney General Pamela Bondi remarked on the severity of the charges, highlighting the need for justice. "This Somali national in Minnesota is charged with raping a minor and multiple adult women before being detained — only to be quickly released by a local court, after which he committed yet another rape," Bondi said.
