A fire that claimed the life of a Waterloo man on the day before Thanksgiving has been determined to have been accidental, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 52 year old Anthony Anderson was found dead inside his apartment at the former Wagon Wheel Motel on the morning of November 26 th . Investigators say there were no working smoke alarms in the apartment and the fire had been smoldering for a while before the building’s maintenance man noticed smoke and called 911. The fire was contained to Anderson’s apartment. It is unclear how the fire started.
