WEST FARGO — When Hal Gershman says success is all in the details, he's not kidding.

It’s how the longtime owner of Happy Harry’s built his father’s Grand Forks liquor store into five successful brick-and-mortars in Fargo and Grand Forks. It’s how he, his wife, Kathy, and general manager Matt Walkowiak turned Harry’s Steakhouse in downtown Grand Forks into an experience for which people will make special trips from Sioux Falls and Bismarck.

And it’s that same exacting eye that Gershman brings to the second Harry’s Steakhouse, which opened Nov. 24 at 915 19th Ave. E., (formerly JoJo’s Restaurant) West Fargo.
