WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A horse is recovering after being rescued from a ditch Wednesday night, according to the Williamson County Fire Rescue.
WCFR said crews responded to New Highway 96 West for reports of a horse that had become stuck in a ditch.
When crews arrived, they were able to free the horse using straps and a rescue glide.
WCFR said the horse is doing well as of Thursday.
"We’re grateful for our dedicated animal rescue team and department members who assisted with the rescue!" WCFR said.
