Several crews responded to the scene of a train derailment near downtown Los Angeles on Thursday night.

BNSF said around 10:30 p.m., a train experienced a derailment involving multiple rail cars near Washington Boulevard.

Crews are working to rerail the derailed cars and restore service to the train.

No injuries were reported, and no hazardous materials were involved in the incident. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
