WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department have identified the victim of the fatal pedestrian crash that left a man dead late Wednesday night in Waco.
Police have identified the deceased victim as 79-year-old Andres Estrada.
The identity of the driver who struck Estrada has not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.

Waco police officers responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian crash on the 2400 Block of S. 21st St. at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 3.
Investigators determined that the man, now identified as Andres Estrada, was struck by a Chevy Impala traveling northbound on 21st Street. Estrada was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Chevy Impala remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators, police
