This is the shocking moment a man violently pulled a terrified pensioner from her car before driving away and crashing into a van. The incident took place in the car park of the Heddfan unit hospital in Wrexham on May 13.

CCTV footage captured Benjamin Griffiths forcefully pulling the 67-year-old woman out of the driver's seat of her Citroen C3. In the footage Griffiths then takes control of the vehicle, initially colliding with a post before exiting the car park, despite a bystander's attempt to intervene.

He is later seen on camera crashing into a Tesco delivery van at a junction. Griffiths subsequently veers off the road into some bushes in a chaotic scene, NorthWalesLive reports.

By chance a patrolling police officer witnessed the collision and Griffiths was arrested and confesse
