It’s the most wonderful time of year, which means Thomas Rhett is getting to partake in one of his very favorite holiday pastimes: watching his wife, Lauren Akins, decorate their larger-than-life tree.

On Monday, December 1, Thomas took to his Instagram Stories to share a video that Lauren had recorded while decorating. Rather than a quick show of her progress, though, the video was a laugh-filled plea for help because, at five months pregnant, she found that she could climb the ladder to place the ornaments at the top of the tree, but she couldn’t get down. That didn’t stop her from climbing back up once she finally did, though.
