Joe Manganiello and fiancée Caitlin O’Connor have said goodbye to Los Angeles.

After it was reported earlier this week that the engaged couple recently moved out of California , the 36-year-old actress confirmed the move and explained why they decided to relocate to Mount Lebanon, Penn., a suburb of Pittsburgh.

“L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” Caitlin told People on December 4. “I was born in L.A., but raised in Pittsburgh, so we’re both from the same hometown.”

Caitlin went on to note that she and the 48-year-old True Blood actor have bonded over sharing their Pennsylvania roots.

“That’s what we really connect on,” she explained. “We share the same upbringing, the same hometown knowledge. And that’s what really connects us as a couple.”
