Kim Kardashian admitted that her failure to pass the State Bar of California exam broke her “confidence.”

Speaking to TIME Magazine on Thursday, the aspiring lawyer revealed why she went public with her results — even though they weren’t what she’d hoped for.

“I took a minute to process that, and instantly, when I got my results, I didn’t feel good about it. I was really uncomfortable and not confident for a while,” Kardashian, 45, said.

“You get the results on a Friday, and I knew Sunday morning they were going to be live on the internet. So I wanted to mention it first and let people know that it didn’t go my way.”

She admitted that failing “really sucks” because she spent so much time studying and knew what she “can do better.”
