Days before National Signing Day, St. Thomas More football’s Cole Bergeron announced he was decommiting from Virginia Tech . Now, the four-star quarterback has locked in where he’ll take his talents, signing his national letter of intent Friday, Dec. 5, to play for Georgia Tech .
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Bergeron was the backbone of the Cougars’ offense in his senior campaign — leading them to the second round of the LHSAA Select Division I playoffs. He marks the third four-star prospect to become a part of the Yellowjackets ’ 2026 signing class and is their lone quarterback, so far.
His big frame and strong arm helped lead the Cougars to many comeback victories throughout the 2025 season, helping him boost his rating from a three-star to a four-star prospect this year.
