Some of the zoning bills pitched by Nashville’s Planning Department as part of a broader approach to addressing the city’s housing gap have crossed the finish line.
It’s the beginning of the end of a monthslong process for the Planning Department and Metro Nashville Council that started after the department released the preliminary findings of its housing and infrastructure study and kicked into high gear when four bills responsive to those findings were filed with the council in September. Two of those four earned final approval at the council’s Dec. 4 meeting.
