SIKESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - A Sikeston teenager now faces murder charges as an adult in connection with the deadly shooting of a 14-year-old in October.
Thomas Ray Harris, Jr., who is now 14-years-old, is also charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
According to court records, Harris was 13 at the time authorities accuse him of firing three rounds into a vehicle during an altercation with another group of teens. One of those rounds struck and killed the victim, a Sikeston Junior High School student.
Harris is being held in juvenile detention without bond.
