BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — After 35 years of service, Doug Brown, Central Columbia High School ag education teacher and FFA advisor, received two lifetime achievement awards this fall — the Honorary American Degree from the National FFA Organization and the Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award from the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

Both awards symbolize a successful and impactful career dedicated to agricultural education in Columbia County. He received the Golden Owl Award in 2022 through Nationwide, which recognizes outstanding agricultural educators and is nominated by students, parents and supporters.
