The first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, and fans from around the globe are eagerly awaiting news on when and where their favorite teams are playing.
Friday’s draw pulls teams from four pots and places them into 12 groups of four.
The groups for the host countries are already assigned. Mexico is in Group A, Canada is in Group B, and the USA is in Group D.
Kansas City already knows which groups will be coming, but it’s not clear which teams will be a part of those groups.
The draw will narrow it down and give World Cup fans and Kansas Citians a better look at who’s coming.
