Tom Aspinall wasn’t pleased with Dana White’s post-UFC 321 comments. Notably, the UFC boss stated at the press conference that Aspinall didn’t want to continue, which implied that the champion had quit rather than being unable to see properly due to the brutal eye poke. Now, Henry Cejudo gave Aspinall some veteran advice based on his own experiences butting heads with White.
As per Cejudo, the biggest thing that Aspinall should remember is that White is a promoter, not a fighter. So he insists that, being an employee working for the boss, the fighters should fight with him publicly.
He said, “The biggest thing that Tom needs to take from all this is he has to remember that Dana White’s a promoter. He’s a fighter…Because you’re an employee under the boss. So don’t fight with him, bro..”
